Appointment Information
If a patient has access to counselling services through a work benefit plan, we ask that patients access these resources first.
Six to eight sessions with the therapist are available for enrolled patients. The first appointment will often last about an hour and involve discussing the current situation and goals for counselling.
A plan of support will be made, and if appropriate, a patient may also be referred to other community programs or services that are suited to meet the patient’s needs.
To access these services, please call our Mental Health Intake Therapist at ext. 330 (Dufferin Area) or ext. 364 (Bolton/Caledon area). If you are unable to call, a referral can be made through your doctor or nurse practitioner. All appointments and groups are booked through the Mental Health Intake Therapist at 519-938-8802 ext. 330.

The DAFHT Single Session Clinic is held weekly on Wednesday afternoons by appointment for DAFHT patients, age 16+. Both in-person and virtual/phone options are available.
