Part-Time (0.5 FTE) Chiropody Position

A vital team member who will collaborate with physicians and allied health providers to ensure the best health care is provided to our patients.


Screen, prioritize and process client referrals from Physicians within the FHT
Conducts foot health assessment and collaboratively identifies priorities for treatment
Works in collaboration with interdisciplinary team to safely and effectively provide primary care to clients

Provide the best patient care using evidence-based treatment and foot care according to best practices and within the Chiropodist scope of practice as outlined in the Ontario Regulated Health Professionals Act (1991) and the Chiropody Act (1991)


Diploma of Advanced Chiropody or equivalent
Current registration with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
Current Basic CPR certification
Current Ontario Drivers’ License
Immunization against hepatitis B
2 years experience working as a Chiropodist in a hospital of community setting

Previous work in a family health team a definite asset
