Osteoporosis Program - “Treasure Your Bones”
Join our team of nurses, dietitians, pharmacist and health promoter for 3 two-hour sessions discussing topics about osteoporosis including:
• Diagnosis of osteoporosis
• Preventing falls
• Medication use
• Good nutrition including Calcium & Vitamin D
• Safe exercise instruction proven to improve bone health
3 One-Hour Exercise Sessions (Optional):
The exercise sessions are designed to provide you with an overview and introduction to exercises that are proven safe and effective in individuals with osteoporosis. The low-impact, gentle exercises aim to improve gait, balance and posture.

This workshop has been designed for patients diagnosed with Osteoporosis or Osteopenia
Appointment Information
This is a group program.
Please wear comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes.
Referral Process
Patients must be referred to the Osteoporosis Program by their Primary Care Provider or Allied Health Professional
Patients diagnosed with Osteoporosis or Osteopenia may refer themselves as well.
